The articles added and amended within the scope of the "Regulation Amending the Cosmetic Products Regulation," published in the Official Gazette dated 05.03.2024 and numbered 32480, are as follows:

ARTICLE 1- The following sentence is added to subparagraph (a) of the third paragraph of Article 6 of the Cosmetic Products Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated 8/5/2023 and numbered 32184 bis (repeated). "However, the manufacturer may appoint a real or legal person resident in Turkey as the responsible person by authorizing them with a written agreement."

ARTICLE 2- The following additional article is added to the same Regulation. "Guides" ADDITIONAL ARTICLE 1- (1) The necessary guides are published by the Agency to demonstrate the implementation of this Regulation."

ARTICLE 3- The second and third paragraphs of Provisional Article 1 of the same Regulation are amended as follows. "(2) During the period specified in the first paragraph, a notification made in accordance with Article 14 of the Cosmetics Regulation, which was repealed by Article 38 of this Regulation, is deemed to comply with Article 16 of this Regulation. (3) The product safety assessment to be carried out within the scope of the second paragraph of Article 13 and the product information file to be prepared within the scope of Article 14 shall be completed within six months from the date of entry into force of this Regulation for products notified under the Cosmetics Regulation repealed by Article 38 of this Regulation."

ARTICLE 4- Row number 1024 in the table titled "Annex II List of Substances Prohibited in Cosmetic Products" in the annex of the same Regulation is amended as shown in the Annex, and the rows shown in the Annex are added following row number 1694.

ARTICLE 5- Rows numbered 125, 126, 158, 160, 161, 162, 163, 165, 167, 168 in the table titled "Annex III List of Substances that Cosmetic Products Must Not Contain Except Under the Following Restrictions" in the annex of the same Regulation are repealed; rows numbered 45, 46, 70, 73, 86, 88, 109, 114, 122, 124, 131, 133, 154, 157, 175, 196, 324 are amended as shown in the Annex; and the rows shown in the Annex are added following row number 326.

ARTICLE 6- This Regulation enters into force on the date of its publication.

ARTICLE 7- The provisions of this Regulation are executed by the President of the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency.
